Candidates appearing who are seeking admission into B. Tech, MBA(Tech) or MBA (Pharma Tech) are required to qualify the NMIMS NMAT (T) Entrance Exam. NMIMS B.Tech is a 4 year Programme and 720 seats are available. The specializations in B.Tech include Electronics and Telecom, IT, Computer, Electronics, Mechanical, and Civil. MBA (Pharma Tech) is a 5 year integrated programme spread over 15 trimesters and leading to a post graduate degree in MBA (Pharm Tech). MBA (Tech) is a dual degree. It integrated MBA & B.Tech. The duration of the course is 5 years and 280 seats are available.

NMIMS NMAT (T) 2012 Application Procedure
Given below is the step wise application procedure for B. TEch, MBA TEch., and MBA Pharma Tech. offered by NMIMS:
Step 1: If you are registering for the first time then go to the following link: http://oamslive.blueshiftindia.com/MPSTME/Terms.htm and read the term & conditions as specified.
Step 2: Click on the
I Agree button to accept the Terms and Conditions and you will be directed to the page containing the Online Application form.
Step 3: Fill in the details requested in the online application form. Candidates must fill in all the mandatory fields otherwise form may not be processed or may be rejected. In case of any doubt while filling the form, click on the How to fill the Form link at the top of the Online Application Form. Step 4: After filling in details in the form such as Personal Information, Present Correspondence Address, Educational Details, Programme Details, Family Details, and Test City Details, the candidates are required to upload their latest photograph. The Photograph must only be in
.jpg or
.jpeg or
.gif formats and size of
upto 100 kb.
Step 5: After completing the form, click on the
Save and Continue button to choose a password and the hint questions that will be asked if you forget your password.
Step 6: Now click on "
Save and Continue" button to register. The next screen that appears will display your MPSTME ID(for B. Tech & MBA TEch)
OR SPPSPTM ID (for MBA Pharma Tech.)
Step 7: After successful registration, candidates will recieve an email containing their MPSTME ID & MPSTME password
OR SPPSPTM ID & SPPSPTM password (as may be applicable). Candidates must use their respective ID for all future correspondence with the SVKM's NMIMS. Registered applicants can use their MPSTME ID & MPSTME password
OR SPPSPTM ID & SPPSPTM password (as may be applicable) to enter the online application form and to make any changes to the details provided by them.
Step 8: Click on the '
Click here to Continue' link that appears along with your MPSTME ID
OR SPPSPTM ID (as may be applicable) and proceed to make payment. The screen will now display the
Make Payment options. There are three ways to make payment of the requisite fees.
- One may pay directly through Master or Visa card online.
- Candidates may select the option of Payment through AXIS Bank and take the print out of the Axis Bank Challan. This Challan is in 3 parts. Pay Rs. 1,600/- in cash at AXIS Bank branch in your city. The bank will return two parts of the Challan to you. One of them is the receipt for you. Candidates will have to sign the MPSTME OR SPTM (as may be applicable) copy of the Pay-in-slip and send it to the Collection Centre at the following address:

- Another option for fee payment is to pay via Demand Draft. Candidates must get a demand draft for Rs.1,600/- from any Bank in favor of "SVKM'S NMIMS" payable at Mumbai. Candidates must write their Name and the MPSTME ID OR SPPSPTM ID (as may be applicable) at the backside of their DD. Choose the mode of Payment as DD in "Make Payment" Tab and click "Submit". Lastly, take a print of the payment advice form, sign send it along with the DD to the Collection Centre at the following address:

NMIMS NMAT (T) 2012 Admission Process
All eligible candidates who wish to apply for admission to the MBA (Tech.) & B. Tech Programme will be required to appear for a Written Test to be conducted at various locations in India.
MBA (Pharm. Tech.) : All eligible candidates who wish to apply for admission to the MBA (Pharm. Tech.) Programme will be required to appear for a Written Test to be conducted at various locations in India. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in written test, and availability of seats as per eligibility criteria.
B. Tech : This programme is offered at Mukesh Patel School of Technology management & Engineering (Mumbai and Shirpur Campus) . Aspirants will be required to sit for the NMIMS Management Aptitude Test to be conducted on May 13, 2012. Combined merit list based on NMAT T score will be prepared and eligible candidates will be offered Programme/Campus based on the availability of seat, candidates merit rank, choice.
NMIMS NMAT (T) 2012 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent exam including international IB Diploma (IB certificate awarded not eligible) with science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and English as compulsory subjects and obtained minimum 50% marks in (PCM/PCB). Those awaiting their 10+2 exam result this year may also apply.
- Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply provided they should obtaining the required minimum cut off marks and also producing all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
- Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination including IB Diploma can also apply but their admission to the courses will be subject to criterion 3.1 above, obtaining the required minimum cut off marks and also producing all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
- Those candidates who have passed, or, are appearing for 10+2 examination from a Board/University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the Board/University concerned about the equivalent percentage for the GPA obtained.
- It is sole responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess necessary and requisite qualification for the admission to the courses at NMIMS.
- NMIMS reserves the right to alter the terms of eligibility without intimation to the applicants.
NMIMS NMAT (T) 2012 Admit Card
The call letter/admit card for the Admission Test will be available on the website. Candidates are required to download the call letter/admit card from our website www.nmims.edu No candidate, without call letter/admit card or without the photograph on the call letter/admit card will be permitted to appear for the test. Candidate must carry requisite ID proof while appearing for NMAT (T).

NMIMS NMAT (T) 2012 Syllabus
The NMAT (T) 2012 for MBA (Pharma. Tech.) programmes would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type of questions). For MBA (Pharma. Tech.) For B. Tech. and MBA (Tech.) Programme candidates, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are compulsory. Integrated Programme (B.Pharm + MBA(Pharma Tech.) candidates can opt for either Biology or Mathematics.
100 Objective type multile choice questions will be asked form the following broad categories:
- Physics - 30 questions (55 minutes allotted)
- Chemistry - 30 questions (55 minutes allotted)
- Mathematics - 40 questions (35 minutes allotted)
- Biology - 40 questions (35 minutes allotted)
